Which sound should I try first for newborn sleep?
Many parents start with womb sound or the gentle shush, the classic shhh, and keep the hair dryer, fan or white noise for babies for fussy evenings. When you first open Dodo, it asks what usually calms your baby and plays it right away.
Does Dodo work offline?
Yes. Every sound lives inside the app, so Dodo plays without Wi-Fi or mobile data, on a plane, in the car or at the grandparents’. It keeps playing in the background and with the screen locked.
Is there a subscription?
No. Dodo Lifetime is a single in-app purchase, paid once. Apple shows the exact local price before you buy, and Restore Purchases is always on the Lifetime screen.
What is included, and what does Dodo Lifetime add?
12 sounds are included for everyone: womb sound, heartbeat, gentle shush, box fan, hair dryer, vacuum cleaner, white noise, brown noise, pink noise, night rain, ocean waves and forest stream. The sound filter, background playback and the 15 and 30 minute timers are included too.

Yes. If you used Dodo before version 1.2, you keep every sound you had, without paying.
Where should I put the phone?
Keep the phone and any cables out of the crib, about 2 m away, at a low and comfortable volume. Use the sleep timer if you like the sound to fade out. Dodo is a sound app, not a medical device, so always follow the safe sleep guidance from your local health authority.
Does Dodo collect data about my baby?
No. There is no account and no baby profile, and Dodo never uses the microphone. The app counts anonymous app events to get better and does not track you across other apps. Read the privacy policy.
Can I ask for a new sound?
Yes. Search for it in the sound library, and if Dodo does not have it yet, send it as a wish. You can also choose Give Feedback in the menu and write to us directly.
